Photo Gallery: Meet some of the visitors who discovered the centre with a big, warm welcome

LEFT: Welsh Terriers and Friends is the name of the group - and here they are visiting us from as far away as Derby on July 25. They all had a nice walk and then dropped by for some refreshments. CENTRE:Two young visitors from Bournville gave us a cheery wave when they arrived in this lovely old Austin with an interesting history. It spent some years in Australia before coming to a new home in Shropshire. RIGHT: Ponies Benji and Simba are shown enjoying a welcome rest while visitors from Cornwall and elsewhere in Shropshire relax outside the centre.

LEFT: Fifty members of the Malcolm Saville Society from all over Britain (and one from France) visited us on October 02 during their Shropshire weekend. They walked the countryside around the Bog Centre and then went up on to the Stiperstones ridge to enjoy the glorious views and the landscape which enthused Malcolm Saville for his children's adventure stories. Chairman Frank Sheppard (centre, in the chequered top) is pictured with some of the group.

BELOW: She sat at her school desk in the 1930s where our visitors now enjoy their tea and cakes. And now, aged 84, Mrs Netta Bryen visited the centre on August 27 to see herself on the school photographs we have preserved. She was Netta Evans then and her sisters Annie and Jessie plus brother George are also on the photographs.
